The location was fantastic and we absolutely adored the staff. Will definitely be looking for K's House for our next stay

Not well located for JR station, better to stay at Oak Hotel (internet free & better facilities). Booked double & got v small twin. Stored bags in room early to come back to find all doors to room wide open to everyone - no security. Internet isnt free & expensive at 20 mins for 100yen, all other hostels in Japan has been free. Seems they are riding on reputation and not keeping up with facilities. Peeling wallpaper in room also not a plus. Does have a bath which is good

I was only there for 6 hours due to late arrival and early departure, but what I saw was excellent

Dormrooms are tiny and for 8 people too small. Besides there is a very bad, moldy smell in the rooms. Common area is ok.

Great hostel. Only complaint is that it was a little away from the main stations and the JR lines. We had a bit of trouble trying to find the station exits, so we ended up walking quite a bit at times. Otherwise, everything was great!

An excellent hostel which i would highly recommend. I have now stayed in Ks House in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Lots of like minded people here, extremely helpful and friendly staff, great locations, clean with good facilities...everything you could need really.
